Stir the pot.

I posted a video yesterday of Rob Leatham discussing the 9 Vs. 45.  I posted it mostly to stir the pot.  It’s an argument I learned early in my shooting education.  Fortunately I also learned early “only hits count”.  Evidence tells us handguns are lousy fight stoppers.  They are useful because they are portable and concealable.  If you watched (and listened) all the way to the end, Rob clearly explains what Col. Jeff Cooper taught me in my first Gunsite class; shoot the largest caliber you can shoot well.  While I like to stir the pot, a 9mm may be your best choice, but it’s fun listening to the 9 guys lose their minds.
